Choosing the right place for a winter holiday in the Kłodzko Valley can often be quite a challenge, especially when each member of the group has completely different expectations. Are you wondering how to combine your passion for skiing with the need for peace and relaxation after a frosty day? As the hosts of Hotel and Apartments at the foot of Śnieżnik, we understand these logistical dilemmas perfectly. Our guests often return to us, appreciating the fact that our complex serves as a convenient base that combines quick access to ski infrastructure with a comfortable space for evening relaxation.
Why are Czarna Góra and accommodation close to the ski lift the perfect choice for winter?
The Śnieżnik Massif is the geographical heart of winter activities in this region, and the location of our property allows you to make full use of its potential. Czarna Góra Resort itself offers nearly 60 hectares of skiing terrain, with 20 varied slopes and 12 lifts. One of the key advantages of this place is the six-person, very fast Luxtorpeda cable car, which takes skiers directly up to an altitude of 1,150 m above sea level.
Our reception is just 9.8 km from the ski station, which in practice means around 12 minutes by car. This distance means that by choosing accommodation close to the ski lift in Czarna Góra, you can reach the slopes efficiently in the morning and avoid the biggest traffic jams in the very centre of the resort. When you come off the skis in the afternoon, accommodation close to Czarna Góra guarantees a return to a quiet place, away from the noise of loud bars and crowds of tourists.
Who are you planning your trip with? Which winter accommodation in the mountains will work best?
From experience, we know that the right size and layout of rooms are the foundation of a successful holiday. Depending on who you are travelling with, winter accommodation in the mountains should provide different amenities. We suggest which of our options will best suit your plans.
For families with children
If you are planning a winter holiday in the mountains with children, we recommend choosing spacious family apartments with functional kitchenettes. The larger space prevents the morning rush while packing equipment, while the kitchenette makes it easier to quickly prepare a meal for younger skiers. Outside, there is a safe, fenced area for afternoon snowball fights. In case of severe frost, we provide an all-day games room inside the building, and our restaurant offers a special menu catering to the tastes of younger diners.
For couples seeking peace and quiet
Looking for a quiet haven just for the two of you? Our double rooms and smaller studio apartments are an excellent choice. The advantages of these rooms include tranquillity and picturesque views of the mountain ranges in the morning. It is a wonderful way to escape the noise after a full day of sporting excitement and relax over a romantic dinner in our restaurant or recharge your batteries in the wellness area.
For companies and organised groups
For organised trips, efficient logistics are the priority. Our property is highly flexible – we can accommodate a large number of guests and, if necessary, allocate a separate wing to your group. In front of the building, we provide two large, free car parks that can easily accommodate coaches. Our team can also help organise an evening team-building dinner or coordinate group access to beauty treatments.
What winter attractions beyond skiing does the Śnieżnik Massif offer?
A stay with us is about much more than just kilometres covered on the slopes. When you feel like having a day without skis, the nearby area offers plenty of entertainment. For fans of winter trekking, climbing Śnieżnik, at an altitude of 1,425 m above sea level, is a must. From our complex to the starting station in Kamienica, it is just 3.7 km (around 7 minutes by car), while the hike to the summit itself takes approximately 3 hours.
Looking for a different kind of adrenaline? The ski resort is home to Czarna Żmija, the longest alpine slide in Poland. The route is 950 metres long, runs through several loops and is open all year round. We have also thought of cyclists. We have a lockable bicycle storage room, which, combined with more than 200 km of SingleTrack trails in the area, provides an excellent base for enthusiasts of winter fatbike riding. On particularly frosty days, exploring the nearby Bear Cave in Kletno is an excellent choice.
How does SPA & WELLNESS complement an active day on the slopes?
Several hours in the cold put considerable strain on the body, and muscles need warmth to recover more quickly. Having your own SPA & WELLNESS area within the complex eliminates the need to organise evening trips in search of municipal swimming pools. Here, all you need to do is put on a bathrobe and go down one floor. The available saunas will warm your body up quickly, while a professional massage will relieve muscle tension after skiing.
This is also convenient for parents – you can easily plan some time to relax in the spa while your children play under supervision in the games room located inside the building. However, we recommend booking selected treatments at our reception in advance to ensure that your preferred time is available during the peak season.
What do guests planning a winter stay near Czarna Góra ask most often?

- Where can I park my car?
- The complex provides guests with two spacious, free car parks, with no need to reserve a space in advance.

How do I book the perfect apartment for a skiing trip?
